In the language of dreams, forms and actions take on symbolic meaning. Processes which operate outside of conscious awareness are accessible and we are confronted with feelings and thoughts otherwise hidden beneath the surface.
In this work I explore how unconscious processes express themselves through me personally and in society and culture.
The conflict within ourselves is represented by the bio-morphic (which represents our animal selves) and the geometric (which represents our ideas and ideals).
Processes, such as expansion and compression, bending and stretching, and so on, are identified with wishes and memories as they relate to archetypes from personal and collective experience.
